Langdale Crags/Pikes - 11th Aug 25
A huge day, but a magnificent one ticking off four Wainwrights in one go!
Starting off at the Old Dungeon Ghyll hotel at the head of the valley, we would head up The Band past Earing Crag and then head up to Bow Fell via Great Slab near Bowfell Buttress. We would then head south over Crinkle Crags towards The Bad Step and to Great Knott and the slight diversion over to the right to pick off Cold Pike. From here, we have two options. We could head on over to Red Tarn and (if everyone has had enough) we could head back down via Browney Gill to Oxendale Beck, or we could continue over Pike of Blisco and return that way.
A two course lunch prepared over a wood fired stove is included, along with further refreshments (including my famous crème brulee!) back at the van later. I would arrange dietary and allergy requirements in advance by email. All diets catered for.
