Ghyll Scrambling - 17th Aug 25
An adventurous morning ghyll scrambling up the various waterfalls & pools of the beautiful Church Beck canyon in Coniston.
A two course hot lunch along with refreshments will be served back at the van after we’ve dried off and changed.
Meeting point – 09.00 – Pay & display car park, Station Road Coniston
Helmet & buoyancy aids provided. Bring your own wetsuit if you have one, if not we can provide. Clients to bring shoes to get wet and shorts to go over wetsuit. There will be two instructors.
Minimum age – 8 (and be able to swim!). Anyone under 18 must be accompanied by their own parent/guardian.
Duration – approx. two hours in the ghyll
This expedition will only take place with a minimum of 4 guests. The maximum group size will be 8.
