Learn navigation basics and gain map, compass and contour confidence, and enjoy fantastic food on the fells!
Join me on my 'Beginners/Refresher Navigation Day'. This experience is ideal for those who have never done any map and compass work at all and those who have, but maybe need a bit of a refresher.
If you are reluctant to explore more of the hills and mountains due to a lack of navigation confidence, then this experience day is perfect for you.
The navigation training is supplemented with a two-course gourmet lunch in the hills, followed by crème brulee and refreshments back at the van at the end.
There is an opportunity for a swim if you wish. All diets catered for.

Small group training - the maximum number of guests will be 8.
OS maps and compasses are provided for the day.
This route is about 12km in length and takes around 4/5 hours. There is a great wild swimming spot for a dip too!
