Learn navigation basics and gain map, compass and contour confidence, and enjoy fab food on the fells!
Join me on my 'Beginners/Refresher Navigation Day'. This experience is ideal for those who have never done any map and compass work at all and those who have, but maybe need a bit of a refresher.
If you are reluctant to explore more of the hills and mountains due to a lack of navigation confidence, then this day is perfect for you.
The navigation training is supplemented with a two-course gourmet lunch in the hills, followed by crème brulee and refreshments back at the van at the end. All diets catered for.
The meeting place for this will be at Simonside. Full details will be sent out by email.
Small group training - the maximum number of guests will be 8.
OS maps and compasses are provided for the day.
