Navigation Training & Gourmet Lunch - Sunday 14th June 2026
Join me for a navigation training day with gourmet lunch. This is perfect for anyone who’s new to map and compass work, or for those who’ve done a little before but want to rebuild confidence and sharpen their skills.
If you’ve ever hesitated to explore further into the hills or mountains because you’re unsure of your navigation, this day is for you. Together we’ll cover the essentials of map reading, compass use, and contour interpretation, helping you gain the confidence to plan and follow your own routes safely.
You’ll learn at a relaxed pace in stunning surroundings, and of course, we’ll take time to enjoy some fabulous food on the fells along the way. Lunch is usually beside a river or waterfall ; the perfect spot for a dip if you fancy a wild swim!
Small groups are better for training I find. This adventure will operate with a minimum of 2 participants and a maximum of 8.
