Half Term Family Navigation Adventure, Simonside, Rothbury
A fantastic family navigation adventure, designed to teach you the basics of navigation and give you more confidence in exploring the hills and mountains. Learn the basics and gain map, compass and contour confidence. This expedition will be ideal for those who have never done any map and compass work at all and those who have, but maybe need a bit of a refresher!
This experience will operate with a minimum of 6 guests and a maximum of 12. Maps and compasses are provided.
Soup, sandwiches and scotch eggs included. All diets catered for.
This route is child friendly and involves a little bit of climbing via a paved path and forest tracks. It is about 6km in length and takes around 2/3 hours.
The meeting place will be at the Lordenshaw car park at 10am.
